 General Description:

  ZeamentTM is a lite weight composite consisting of Portland Cement, sand, aggregates,

  alkali resistant fiber, polymer, adhesives and water

  Glass fibers re-enforce the product resulting in a stronger material than normal concrete

  ZeamentTM is a 1/2" thick laminate re-enforced with steel and usually installed by drywall,

  millwork and masonry contractors

  It is lightweight enough to reduce the amount of structural steel required for a building,

  much less than 40lbs per square foot for precast concrete yet strong enough to be used

  in hurricane and earthquake zones 

  GFRC can be used for columns, cornice, frieze, wall panels, domes, finals,

  pediments balustrades and more

  ZeamentTM can be supplied

  1) Smooth paint grade finish

  2) Internally pigmented in 12 colors

  3) Sandblasted to achieve the look of stone

  It is weather resistant and can be used in hurricane and earthquake zones and can be submerged

  in water

  There are no specified sizes as all products are made from molds.  

 Architects Specifications

 Part One - General
 A. Description - Internal and exterior architectural detail and millwork shall be ZeamentTM

     - as distributed by Imperial Productions and Distribution Inc.

 Part Two - Submittals
 A. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's descriptive literature, specifications, installation instructions

       and limited warranties.

 B. Warranty: Manufacturer's Limited One Year Warranty is to be submitted.

 C. Product Material Specifications: Obtain from the manufacturer for submission to the relevant

      building code authority.

 Part Three - Substitutions
 A. Substitutions from Imperial's specified architectural details and building components will be

      allowed only with the express written consent of the Owner or Architect.

 Part Four - Product Materials
 A. All interior/exterior ZeamentTM products as distributed by Imperial Productions & Distribution Inc.

 B. Imperial distributed products are vermin resistant and resistant to mold and mildew.

 Part Five - Delivery, Storage and Installation
 A. Deliver, store and install according to instructions as provided

      by Imperial Productions & Distribution Inc.

 B. Installation instructions as provided by Imperial Productions & Distribution Inc. are to be

      followed completely.  Use only recommended Adhesive available from Imperial for installation in

      addition to mechanical fasteners.

 Material Specifications

 Physical Properties
 A. Light weight: only 4 to 7 lbs per square foot

 B. can reduce the amount of structural steel and far lighter than precast concrete at

      40lbs per square foot

 C. Low to zero maintenance - long lasting

 F. Weather resistant strong enough to use in earthquake and hurricane zones

 G. Highly resistant for high impact areas such as shopping malls, public buildings

 H. Fire Resistant: Meets ASTM-E84 requirements - fire-retardant resins are used

 I. Odorless and emission free - safe for indoor use

 J. 12 Standard colors available

 Manufacturing Process: 

 The raw materials are mixed into a slurry and sprayed into molds.  After a mist coat is applied,

 a chopper gun introduces the fiber to the matrix to reinforce the ZeamentTM. 

 The ZeamentTM part is allowed to dry in the mold.  It is then trimmed and demolded. 

 Depending on the finish, the surface may be sandblasted, then protected with a factory applied

 concrete sealer.

 Building Codes

 As there are numerous dominant Building Codes in existence and practice throughout

 North America, in addition to the many State-level and Provincial codes, Imperial strongly urges

  Specifiers and users to refer to their local codes as to the uses any building components

 before buying product.
